No Hot Water – Gas
Firstly check to make sure that your other gas appliances have a supply of gas. If no gas is available to your premises, contact your local gas supplier
Check the pilot light on your unit, if it is not lit, refer to the operating manual for the correct lighting procedure.
If you cannot re-light the pilot light yourself, contact SA HOT WATERTM plumbing services .
No Hot Water – Electric
Firstly check to make sure that the circuit breaker has not been tripped or that the main fuse is not blown.
When power is restored, check you main electricity meter and note if it is recording power, if it is, this would indicate the water is being heated again.
After approximately one hour check the tap closest to the water heater. After a short period you should feel the water beginning to heat. If the water is still cold there may be a problem. Contact SA HOT WATERTM plumbing services.
