Before you begin

All gas appliances require commissioning upon installation toensure the appliance performs to specification and minimise potential problems in the future. The CI units should function correctly if the working supply pressure is set to specification.
Tools Required:
A digital manometer is required to complete the commissioning of this appliance.

Procedure

  1. Isolate the gas supply to the appliance
  2. Loosen the captive screw on the inlet test point directly above the regulator

  3. Connect manometer to inlet test point on the gas inlet pipe
  4. Turn on gas supply
  5. Operate the appliance and check the gas supply pressure is correct for the gas type
    NG 1.00kPa / LPG 2.60kPa
  6. Adjust the gas supply via the regulator if required
  7. When the correct gas pressure has been set turn the appliance off and isolate the gas supply. Remove manometer from the test point and tighten screw.
  8. Turn on gas and check the test point for leakage with soapy water.
  9. Isolate gas supply to appliance
  10. Loosen test point screw on burner (pictured) and connect manometer to test point

  11. Turn on the gas supply
  12. Check the gas pressure is correct as per the data plate on the bottom left corner of the appliance.
  13. Turn appliance off and isolate gas supply. Remove manometer from test point and tighten screw.
  14. Turn on gas and check test point for leakage with soapy water.
